Scientist - Genome Engineering (gn)

• Lead and contribute to genome engineering projects, utilizing advanced gene-editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9, base editing, prime editing)
• Analyze and interpret genomic data, employing molecular and cell biology techniques
• Design, execute, and optimize experiments in stem cell biology, including iPSC culture, differentiation, and characterization
• Contribute to the generation of master cell banks under GMP conditions
• Manipulate human cells by various nucleic acid delivery techniques
• Critically analyze and interpret data and define realistic timelines for studies
• Work closely with and communicate results to internal teams as well as to external partners

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Stem Cell Biology, or a related field
• Proven expertise in genome engineering projects, including CRISPR-based gene editing
• Preferably a background in stem cell biology, including hands-on experience with iPSC culture and differentiation
• Good command of English as well as German
