The European School Munich (ESM) provides multilingual and multicultural education from kindergarten to the European Baccalaeurate. It is the only school in Munich where the national languages of all the Member States of the European Union are taught. It is part of the system of European Schools established by the EU Member States as official educational institutions.

Your profile

  • You have the certified Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to teach pupils in Philosophy up to the European Baccalaureate (A-Level equivalent) and to prepare them for the European Baccalaureate examination.
  • A second subject, preferably Economics, would be desirable.
  • Your native language is English.
  • You have language skills (B1 or higher) in at least one other European language, preferably German or French.
  • You want to work in a multinational environment in a team with colleagues from all over Europe and educate children in the European idea.
  • You are prepared to make an above-average pedagogical and personal commitment.
  • Experience with pupils with special educational needs is desirable.
