Fast Facts: The Site

Established in 1976, the office in Munich (Feldkirchen) was the first Intel location in Germany and serves as the headquarters of Intel Germany GmbH. Intel’s largest site in Germany is host to the Mobile and Communications Group. In addition to our core semiconductor business, the 1,600 Munich Intel employees work in research and development, engineering, and sales and marketing, and provide core organization support. The central Sales and Marketing departments for Intel Germany GmbH, as well as Intel Capital, the Intel Software and Services Group and the Intel Open Labs are all based here.

Also based at this campus are finance, legal, marketing, communications and HR groups. With a dedicated focus on the EMEA business, a division of the Mobile Wireless Sales Group operates out of the Munich Campus as well.
