Software Integration Engineer for Autonomous Driving (m/f)

Job Description

The position is located in the Engineering Department of the Automatic Driving Solution ASD in Munich. You will be part of the System/SW Integration team contributing to the planning and execution of our SW plan for the implementation of Autonomous Driving technology

 

Your responsibility will include:

  •  Work closely with the SW domain development teams to integrate software components
  •  Creation of software builds including build documentation and preparation for software releases.
  •  Design and execute system integration tests and implement their automation.
  •  Reproduce, investigate and follow up on defects found during validation. Drive sightings from open to closure including closely work with the validation teams.
  •  Play as a gate keeper in each domain to ensure a healthy product quality release to internal and external customers.
  •  Setting up of hardware systems to run the software components
  •  Coordinating with SW Project lead and HW project lead in managing HW & SW Integration.
  •  Coordination with external partners part of the SW delivery chain

 

You will need to have strong experience in embedded software, RTOS, HW/SW integration.

An experience in automotive environment will be preferred.

You will need to have very good organization skills and a very structured approach to your work and the ability to have an effective communication with teams located on site and off site.

Voraussetzungen


Qualifications


  • Master of Science in Computer Science,
  • Electrical Engineering or comparable degree and more than 4 years documented industry experience in software development and/or integrationVery good knowledge of Unix/Linux, especially in startup technologies systemd 
  • Experience in scripting languages e.g. Perl, Unix-Shell, PhytonExperience in software development C++ and software integration
  • Experience of Configuration management, release management
  • Experience with git, gerrit.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in build automation with Yocto, Jenkins or similar technologies
  • Experience in automotive embedded systemsExperience with embedded Linux distributions Yocto, Poky, GenIVIISO26262 Functional Safety experience preferred
  • Ability to work with distributed teams, in different time zones
  • Good English written and spoken
