Key Responsibilities.

  • Assists business partners with proper expenditure coding, document preparation and other accounting-related support to ensure that costs and revenues are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis                                                               
  • Contributes to month-/ year-end closing procedures in cooperation with the SBX DE Finance Accountant as well as the external company providing accounting service     
  • Conducts accounts payables reconciliations and monitors the invoice approval process to eliminate delays and errors
  • Issues the Sales invoices and keeps the accounts receivables balances monitoring
  • Assists with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures; documents accounting related policies, procedures and workflows.
  • Keeps the Accounts payable archiving up to date and complete
  • Assists the organization with improving the overall financial practices; participate in establishing accounting policies and procedures; contributes to process efficiency improvement


Experience Required.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very good planning and organizing skills
  • English: Strong written & spoken communication skills
  • German: basic knowledge          
  • Be good at problem analysis and problem solving                                                                           
  • Ability at team work and relating well with other staff members
  • Proven experience in accountancy                                           
  • Fluency in German Accounting Standards as well as International Accounting Standards
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage
