We are strengthening our Accounting Department at our Unterschleißheim location. Join our team as a Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

Lead the German Accounting Team and close co-operation with Finance Shared Service in Poland
Open communication with other business functions to ensure that relevant information is utilized and reflected in the financial statements on-time
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data
Produce monthly IFRS/ management reports at year end standard to support propper decision taking and annual HGB statemens
Establish and analyze accounting methods and produce financial reports or statements
Manage the periodic tax reporting (VAT, Corporate tax, etc.) together with external advisors
Analyze existing Finance and Accounting processes
Review and challenge existing purchase processes, document management and approval work flows
Collaborate in structuring roles and responsibilities between the German accounting team and Shared Service Center
Develop efficient, reconciliation and reporting processes

Academic degree in business administration or comparable field of study
Multiple years of relevant profesional experience in accounting, taxes etc., ideally in an international environment
Solid knowledge of national and international accounting standards
Experience in the implementation of process optimazation and proven record with shared service collaboration
Ability to present complex issues in a structured manner paired with analytical comprehension
Business fluency in both, German and English
High integrity
Experience in the construction industry and in the use of NAVISION is desirable
